Corporate Stays for BIEC Events: Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 and IMTEX 2027
Bengaluru Tech Summit runs 17 to 19 November 2026 and IMTEX 2027 follows in January. How to plan accommodation, transfers and delegation logistics for a BIEC exhibition without losing half your day to traffic.

Bengaluru's exhibition calendar concentrates at one venue, the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre on Tumkur Road. Two of the biggest shows on that calendar land within ten weeks of each other.
Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 runs 17 to 19 November. It is the 29th edition, themed "AI & Beyond", and expects more than 60,000 business visitors, 1,800 exhibitors, 1,000 startups and 600 speakers from over 75 countries.
IMTEX 2027 follows from 21 to 27 January. It is South and South-East Asia's largest machine tool and manufacturing exhibition, expecting around 133,000 visitors and 1,100 exhibitors, with Tooltech running alongside it.
If you are exhibiting at or attending either, accommodation is what decides whether the show is productive or exhausting.
Short version
BIEC sits in the north-west quadrant of Bengaluru, well outside the city core. Delegates who book a central hotel out of habit spend two to three hours a day in transit. A North Bengaluru base keeps you on the same side of the city as both the venue and the airport. Le Roma Grandeur has 81 rooms in Yelahanka, an AC boardroom and banquet hall for side meetings, two restaurants, a sports bar and parking for more than 200 cars.
The geography problem nobody plans for
BIEC is on Tumkur Road, roughly 10th Mile, at Madanayakanahalli. It is not in the city. This catches out first-time exhibitors every year.
The default booking instinct sends people to MG Road, Koramangala, Indiranagar or Whitefield, which puts you on the wrong side of Bengaluru entirely. During a show week that means crossing the city twice a day, in traffic already at its worst because 60,000 other people are heading to the same place.
Staying north changes the shape of the day. You approach BIEC along the northern and western arc rather than through the centre. Kempegowda International Airport is on your side of the city, so arrivals and departures do not eat half a day. And getting back to the airport after teardown stays manageable.
Exhibitors and visitors want opposite things
These two groups book the same hotels for completely different reasons.
If you are exhibiting, you need consecutive nights. IMTEX runs seven days and BTS runs three plus setup, so you want a block, not a patchwork. Your days start before the hall opens and finish after it closes, which makes breakfast timing and late kitchen availability matter more than they sound. You will want somewhere to hold a meeting that is not your stand, because the serious conversations at a trade show happen away from the noise, and a boardroom at your hotel is worth more than another hall pass. You need parking and vehicle access for crew moving material. And you want your whole team in one property, because splitting twenty people across three hotels creates a logistics problem that lasts all week.
If you are visiting, the list is shorter. One or two nights, proximity that survives a 9am hall opening, somewhere to sit down with a prospect after the floor closes, and a quiet room, because exhibition days are genuinely tiring.
Planning timeline
Book accommodation before you finalise anything else. At this scale, rooms are the constraint that binds.
| Event | Dates | Book accommodation by |
|---|---|---|
| Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 | 17 to 19 Nov 2026 | September 2026 |
| IMTEX 2027 (with Tooltech) | 21 to 27 Jan 2027 | November 2026 |
IMTEX deserves particular attention. At roughly 133,000 visitors across seven days it is one of the largest industrial exhibitions in the region, and it draws heavily from outside Karnataka. North Bengaluru inventory tightens early.
What else is coming to BIEC
The venue's calendar runs on through 2027, which matters if you exhibit on a circuit. The Warehouse Logistics and Material Handling Expo is on 9 to 11 April, the Food and Drink Processing Expo on 28 to 30 April, Bharat Print Expo on 13 to 15 May, and DEF-TECH Bharat on 19 to 21 May.
That last one is worth noting because it follows Aero India 2027 at Yelahanka in February. For anyone working the defence and aerospace circuit, that is two Bengaluru shows in a quarter, both reachable from the same North Bengaluru base.
Staying at Le Roma Grandeur
Le Roma Grandeur is a 5-star business hotel in Yelahanka, North Bengaluru, roughly 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport.
For exhibition weeks it has 81 rooms, enough to hold a full delegation in one place. There is an AC boardroom seating 150 and an AC banquet hall seating 250 for briefings, client meetings and dealer sessions away from the show floor, plus 20,000 sq ft of poolside lawns if you are hosting customers for an evening. Two multi-cuisine restaurants and a sports bar cover the part of the day when the floor closes and nobody wants to get back in a car. There is parking for more than 200 cars, generator backup, 24/7 room service, and in-house catering and event planning so a hospitality evening does not need a separate vendor.
To discuss a room block, send us your dates, delegate count, and whether you need meeting space alongside the rooms.
